Welcome to thehandcuffs.com! You are on the home page.

Happy Summer! We've started out the year with a bang thanks to GRETSCH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. Lead singer/rhythm guitarist Chloe F. Orwell and The Handcuffs spent January and February as the featured artist at gretsch.com. We're currently being featured by Gretsch at gretsch pages where you can check out photos from the "great Gretsch pile-up" on Chloe from the 2014 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.

Album number four is in the works. The band has been busy recording at Kingsize Sound Labs in Chicago. New album's ETA: late fall 2014.

Next Scheduled Shows: Saturday, July 12 at Roscoe Village Burger Fest, Chicago and Sunday, August 10 at the world famous Northalsted Market Days, Chicago. Check back often because new shows are added all the time. See the shows page for details.

The latest bit of press: A great interview/article about our fearless drummer Brad Elvis. Check it out here: thebestdrummerintheworld.com

Our music is still all over TV nowadays (hey, it's the new radio), so make sure you listen while you watch. And don't forget to follow us on twitter and facebook. We've also been picked up by Pandora Radio. Make sure you add The Handcuffs channel to your list of favorites. And, thanks to KCSN Los Angeles for being the latest terrestrial radio station to play our music.

MEET THE BAND: from left, Emily Togni (bass), Brad Elvis (drums), Chloe F. Orwell (lead vox), Susie Q (our newest member on lead guitar), Alison Hinderliter (keys). P.S. Yes, we are tipping our hat to the New York Dolls.
